Some are famous for things they had no control over, and still some have risen to the top as dedicated “kid-preneurs” clamouring to make their mark in the world. However these wealthy kids and teenagers acquired their wealth, hopefully they can keep their wits and wallets about them when it’s time for them to turn 18 and they come into their vast fortunes.

At only 4 years old, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge’s wealth surpasses even that of her older brother, Prince George. Apparently, the wealth of the royal offspring is allotted by their mark on the current British economy, and little Charlotte has been making waves in the fashion world. Idiomatically dubbed the “Charlotte effect”, following in the steps of her mother, Kate Middleton, everything the little girl wears sells out instantaneously. It is not a trend thought to be going anywhere anytime soon, so it’s safe to say the young princess will be looking at quite a substantial sum someday. 

2. Blue Ivy Carter – Estimated $1 Billion

7-year-old Blue Ivy Carter is a born multi-millionaire, courtesy of her superstar parents Beyoncé Knowles and Shawn (Jay-Z) Carter. Rumoured to have received a 5-figure doll for her last birthday present, baby Blue Ivy has definitely grown up with the most lavish parties, gifts, and ensembles a kid could ask for. Like Princess Charlotte, she also has a desirable brand value, touting industry leading looks that have had multiple critics take notice. 

3. Ryan Kaji – Estimated $16 Million

Can you imagine being a 5-year-old child whose extremely well-paying job was to play with toys all day, and then talk about them to other kids? Ryan Kanji hit the jackpot when he started Ryan’s ToyReview (with the help of his parents, of course) on YouTube back in 2015. He recently topped the Forbes list of highest paid YouTubers, with his channel having morphed over the past few years to include some educational content as well and continuing to attract a huge audience. Ryan’s most viewed video has almost 2 billion views and his current channel called Ryan’s World has over 20 million subscribers. Nickelodeon created a show loosely based on his character, and if that weren’t enough, he also sells his own brand of toys, clothing, and household accessories at massive chain stores like Target and Walmart. His net worth is estimated at $16 million dollars and he is just shy of 9-years-old.

4. Ryan John and Pheobe Adele Gates — $10 Million

Even as the inventor of Microsoft and one of the richest men in the world, Bill Gates’ kids Ryan John and Pheobe Adele are worth a mere $10 million. Seeing as they’re not yet old enough to inherit their assigned lump sums, it’s probably reasonable to assume that they’re living off of their parent’s wealth for now. Bill Gates is a philanthropic man and hopes his children will take the money he gives them and make something of it and themselves someday. Of course, if one of them does go broke it’s not like they don’t have a lifeline to turn to. 

5. Dannielynn Birkhead – Estimated $10 Million

Following in the footsteps of her late mother, Anna Nicole Smith, Dannielynn has amassed an impressive amount of money as a child model for Guess and a reality star. At the young age of 11, Dannielynn Birkhead has had a turbulent past. Losing her mother at only 5 months old to a drug overdose, a series of paternity tests found her father to be photographer, and Smith’s ex, Larry Birkhead who Dannielynn currently lives with. She is also the sole heir of her mother’s estate, valued at close to $1 million.
